hOMe Yoga North Van is more than a studio — it’s a sanctuary where the mountains rise behind us and the ocean expands before us, grounding the unsteady mind and offering calm amidst busy lives. Here, community feels like coming hOMe.
We believe that steady practice lifts us to the heights of Yoga, and we’ve created a space rooted in connection — to self, to others, and to the land we practice on. Our supportive, encouraging environment invites you to look within, awakening personal power and recognizing its influence on the well-being of the world. Through the transformative flow of vinyasa yoga, we honor both ancient tradition and modern life.
hOMe Yoga North Van is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Səl̓ílwətaʔ / Tsleil-Waututh Nation. We are privileged to be guests here and are committed to listening, learning, and acting in ways that honour this gift. Just steps from the forest, at the base of the mountains, and within reach of the ocean, our studio is a place to fulfill the ancient promise of Yoga: Powerful Peace and Peaceful Power.
What Students are Saying
“They say that when the student is ready a teacher will appear. I was ready and the finest teachers appeared. Peter is Authentic, Smart, Humble, and it is clear that he loves what he does. Together, Cecily and Peter have created magic at hOMe Yoga North Van. I am forever grateful for the example they set of what ‘living yoga’ looks like. From morning forest walks, meditation, mantra, chanting, asana, yoga history, green tea, sharing of lived experience and teachings directly from the Krishnamacharya lineage, philosophy, book clubs, gifts and surprise guests, juggling family life and active dialogue - we were provided with all of it during training. In the words of Peter’s beloved guru Ram Das “you’re just being love, radiating like the sun” . Thank you oneyoga northvan for shining on me this summer. I hope to be able to share your light with others I teach someday soon.”
